Gen Z: The Less-Sex Generation?
Gen Z’s Journey of Growth
Generation Z (aka Gen Z) refers to those born between 1997 and 2012 👧🏻👦🏻
They were born 👶🏻 and grew up 🤱🏻 in an era dominated by technology.
From day one, they’ve been inundated with 24/7 information output 💬
and bombarded by social media daily 💥.
You’d think their communication and connection would be tighter than ever 👥.
So why are they having **less sex**? 🤔
Why Less Sex? (1)
Many schools provide sex education focused on sex = pregnancy 🤰🏻 or STDs 🦠.
This makes students believe abstinence 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♂️ is the only way ⚠️.
Such teachings leave them confused, hesitant, or misinformed about sex 😐✋🏼.
Why Not Interested? (2)
Technology 📡 and the pandemic 😷 have reshaped global lifestyles 🌍.
Gen Z leans more towards masturbation ✊🏼🍆🤟🏼💦 than face-to-face sexual activity 👥.
Social media 📲 partially fulfills their social needs 🌐,
further reducing human contact 🧑🏻💻.
Why Not Interested? (3)
Gen Z values self-growth 🧑🏻🎨 and self-discovery 🌱 more than previous generations.
With increasingly rich online resources 🔎📖 (like MBTI and Human Design),
Gen Z is more inclined to develop platonic relationships 🧘🏻
before jumping into physical connections ❤️🔥.
Conclusion
Although Gen Z is labeled as the "less sex generation" 👼🏻,
this is just an overall trend 📈 and doesn’t reflect everyone’s attitude towards sex 😌.
As times change ⏳ and Gen Z matures 🐣,
this trend may shift again ↪️.
It’s impossible to generalize 🙅🏻.
