Why use condoms?
Condoms are a simple, effective and convenient method of contraception and STD protection. When used correctly, it provides optimal security.
According to the Hong Kong Department of Health, the contraceptive success rate of correct use of condoms can reach 87-98%. Condoms prevent semen from entering the vagina, thereby reducing the risk of pregnancy.
In addition, condoms can also reduce the risk of STD transmission, effectively prevent the spread of STD viruses, bacteria and other pathogens, and protect the health of sexual partners.
In addition to condoms used for sexual intercourse, there are also dental dams (also known as: oral sex condoms) that make vaginal, anal and oral sex safer and more convenient;
There are even finger condoms specially designed for finger sex, and condoms that are friendly to toy materials, allowing you to ensure safety and hygiene during sexual interactions in any situation.
Therefore, using condoms is a simple and effective way to prevent pregnancy and protect against STDs, allowing both parties to enjoy a safe and comfortable intimate time.
Why is it important to choose the right condom?
Choosing the right condom can effectively reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancy, and protect the health of both parties.
In addition, there are some specially designed condoms that can enhance the pleasure and give you and your partner a brand new sexual experience!
How to confirm condom size?
There are four values regarding condoms:
diameter;
circumference;
length:
Width: The width measured when the condom is flat is 1/2 of the circumference.
Among the four items, the most important thing to pay attention to is the width, because the width is usually marked on the packaging box. There may be a 2mm error in condom measurement, so ±2mm is generally written after the number.
Why do some condoms have two width values?
This may be a "big head and thin body" style. The condom does not have a straight tube shape when unfolded.
For example, 72/55mm represents the widest (head) and narrowest (bottom) parts respectively.
How to measure penis size and choose appropriate condom?
At the thickest part of a fully erect penis,
Use a soft ruler/string/penis measuring tape to measure around the circle
Divide the value by 2 to get the width.
If you choose latex/PI condoms (SKYN), due to the high elasticity of the material, you can choose condoms with a width of -2mm;
If you choose PU condoms (such as 001), choose condoms with the same value.
For example: Peter's penis circumference length is 108 mm. After dividing by 2, the circumferential length is 54mm. He should choose PU condoms with a width of 54mm, or latex/PI condoms with a width of 52mm.
How to use condoms correctly?
As long as condoms are used new each time and worn correctly, and not reused, they provide the best protection against STDs and pregnancy.
Here are the steps for using condoms:
(1) Inspection: Before use, please check the expiration date and appearance to ensure that the packaging is complete and there is no obvious damage.
(2) Open: Gently tear open the condom package and avoid using sharp tools or sharp objects to avoid damaging the condom.
(3) Confirm: Confirm the front and back. You can slide a condom on with your fingers and have a raised end. This end should be placed on the tip of the penis.
(4) Squeeze: Pinch the tip of the condom and squeeze out the air to prevent air from being trapped in the condom.
(5) Insertion: Use one hand to gently slide the condom towards the penis, and use the other hand to slide the condom completely onto the penis, ensuring that the condom completely covers the penis.
(6) Expand: Before the condom is fully expanded, gently hold the bottom of the condom with your fingers to ensure that no air is trapped in the condom.
(7) Proceeding: When proceeding, please ensure that the condom is still on the penis to avoid slipping.
(8) Completion: After finishing, when the penis is not completely de-erected, gently place your fingers on the bottom of the condom to avoid slipping, and gently pull the condom out of the penis.
(9) Disposal: Put used condoms in plastic bags or paper towels and discard them in the trash. Do not flush used condoms down the toilet.
How to prevent condoms from breaking or slipping?
To prevent condoms from breaking or slipping, you can follow these tips:
(1) Appropriate size: Make sure to choose a condom of appropriate size and avoid being too tight or too loose.
(2) Correct use: Wear condoms correctly according to the previously mentioned usage methods.
(3) Avoid sharp tools: Do not use sharp tools to open condom packaging to avoid damage.
(4) Proper lubrication: use water-based or silicone lubricant, do not use oil-based lubricant to avoid damage.
(5) Proper storage: Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or humid environments when storing to avoid affecting quality.
(6) Disposable: Do not reuse, use new condoms every time.
Is it possible to use lubricant at the same time as using a condom?
Yes, it is best to use water-based or silicone-based lube, avoid oil-based lube as this may damage latex condoms, we have a variety of lube styles to choose from .
